When we searched for this product's name, our list was full of “smart”-and-“tech” words — none felt right. We wanted a Persian name, a familiar one, and one that said something about the product itself.
“Dorna” — the crane — had all three.
In our culture the crane is the bird of long journeys. It flies thousands of kilometers and never loses the way — it knows the road. It doesn't fly alone; it travels with the flock, and everyone's arrival matters. And unlike most birds, the crane is a good omen in Iranian culture.
The assistant we wanted to build was exactly that: a guide that carries the work to its destination, not an advisor that only points; a companion for the team, not a tool for one person; a presence that is good news, not new complexity.
Our logo is that image: a crane of light and circuitry inside the letter D — an ancient bird with a technological soul.
This blog exists for the same reason: a place to talk about the road, what we build and what we learn. If you'd like to watch the flight up close, the free account is always open.
